OUR STORY

Since

1995

We began raising produce and baking on 18 acres south of Lawrence, Kansas, in 1995. Our gardens produce spring greens, onions, potatoes, garlic, summer squash, tomatoes, and other vegetables.

In 2009 we built a wood fired clay oven that we use to bake sourdough breads. Other baked goods we offer are cinnamon rolls, biscotti and some gluten and dairy free items. We bake special products at holiday times.

In 2015 we added a high tunnel to extend our growing season.

Our bee hives contribute to the productivity of our crops and give us honey to sell. We have apple trees, black raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries and rhubarb to sell fresh and make jams, jellies and fruit butters. We also purchase fruits from other local growers to offer a wide variety of fruit products.

From April to November you will find us vending at the Lawrence Farmers Market on Tuesday's and Saturday's.

Our body care products rose from a desire so offer a more natural skin and hair care product that we would use for ourselves. We are continually researching and creating new products in this area.
